Okay. As is the standard for any club, I will be posting this list of rules. Let's get started, shall we?

Club Leader:

First up-Ground Rules.
.No flaming anybody on this page, members and posters alike.

.No flaming any of the pictures/entries. Constructive criticism is allowed. But there IS a difference between "I think this pic would be better if..." and "You suck, go jump off a cliff and die, ktnxbai." Basic rule of thumb for critique: if you're not saying it with the intention of helping the artist/creator improve, then don't say it at all.

.No attacking either series or character. If you don't like them, then what on Earth are you doing here?

.No bashing pairings. I KNOW this pairing has no possibility of ever happening-it's just for fun. That does NOT mean that I will accept trash talk about actual pairings/possible pairings for either series, however.

.No anti-gay slurs. You got a problem? Keep it off of this page. I want things to stay civil. Got that?

.Promotion is always welcome. Even if you only do it once, I appreciate the effort. But if you can, put our icon into your journal, or wherever you can. Or just add a link in your signature.

.Plagiarism or art theft WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If I find out that anybody has submitted a stolen deviation and tried to pass it off as theirs, they WILL be kicked out and BANNED from the page. Depending on the severity of the situation, they may also be reported to the dA mods. Savvy?

Okay, now: Membership.
Either post a comment on the page, or send a note with the topic of membership mentioned. Alright? And don't forget to watch as well. I will be constantly updating this particular entry, since it will hold the all important members roster. List so far:

Number four: Deviations.
Alright. Same rules apply as above. Let me know in a note or message that you have a deviation for the club, and I will swing by, record the necessary info, and add it here. Okay? All deviation forms are accepted-from fanart to fanfics, poetry and comic strips, cosplay-it'll all fit. Come one, come all, and have a ball! If it's got one or the other, I'm willing to check it out!

Rules For Club Deviations:
.It must have at least one or both parties featured-either Seras or Misa.
.Since this is a SerasxMisa club, PLEASE do not send me SerasxAlucard or MisaxL pics (although I do enjoy both pairings on occasion. ) just because it features one of the members.
.Other characters are allowed in pics. However, the main focus of the pic must be either one or the other or both girls.
.Mature content is allowed. HOWEVER, there is a difference between a tender embrace and porn-without-plot. If you wish to submit nudity or lemons...please keep them tasteful. Alright? Sex isn't something to be thrown around lightly.

NOTE: PLEASE stop faving club deviations by other members/deviants! It explicitly states in the artist's notes that 'this pic is a club deviation, do NOT fave/comment here'! So why am I still getting messages that people are faving them? I include links to the original pictures as well...

I'm sorry for yelling, it's just-those aren't my works. They were either drawn by other club members, out of the goodness of their own hearts, or contributed by fellow deviants. When you don't comment/fave at the original link...I feel guilty. Give the activity to THEM, not to me for those works! Understood?

Alright. Five: Why these two? How do they match?
Hmm...it's a tricky explanation. I just noticed a few things that were similar with them, as well as some things that weren't. But it still flowed and fit perfectly. Provided an interesting clash, you know?

Seras and Misa are both orphans-their parents/families were murdered. Although Misa herself was never attacked by the killer(s), Seras was. They chose different ways to handle it.

Misa grieved silently, wishing and praying for justice, which came in the form of Kira and the Death Note. Seras grew up rough and tumble, refusing to let anyone knock her down again. But, if they were to meet...I could easily see Seras becoming like another sort of Rem figure to Misa. Except more romantic.

And I'd love to see these two dark worlds clash. Death Note-would it still work in the 'Hellsing' world? How would 'Death Note' characters react to Vampires? Currently, although I'm pretty full-up with activities, both on and off dA...I have begun work on a SerasxMisa fanfic. So be on the lookout for that.

Plus, they both have that cheerful yet dark personality. And they get bashed in the fandom. I don't know why...I love them. They're a lot smarter and stronger than some seem to give them credit for. So, this pairing is meant to expand on those positive attributes.

Did any of the above make sense at all? I tried my best to explain-just so that I don't get the odd comment like "OMG you have too much time on your hands! That'll never work! Go do something worthwhile!" Mainly though...I run this club for fun.
